Yohan Cabaye could leave Crystal Palace for Marseille in the summer, says Eagles manager Sam Allardyce.
The 31-year-old midfielder joined Palace in 2015, for what was a then a club-record £10m transfer fee.
The Frenchman recently told beIN Sports he was "unsure what the future holds" after being linked with a move back to his home country.
"Reading between the lines, he would like to go to Marseille if they made a big enough bid," said Allardyce.
"He would like to keep the club up. In today's world and today's society, if he does the job for us and keeps us up and Marseille offer us millions of pounds, then Steve [Parish, Palace's chairman] will say 'Should we or shouldn't we?'.
"But I would prefer to keep him. What happens in the summer? Who knows? There will be some comings, there will be some goings and that happens at every football club now. Too much these days."
Crystal Palace are currently 16th in the Premier League, four points above the relegation zone with 10 games remaining. They travel to league leaders Chelsea on Saturday.
