Oh yes. The Spice Girls reunion is back on.
Almost a year after Geri Horner (Ginger), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Mel B (Scary) released a video on their 20th anniversary hinting that they would reform as GEM, Geri has confirmed that a reunion will happen in the near future.
Initially halted when Geri found out that she was expecting her second child with husband Christian Horner, she has now confirmed the news.
Speaking to The Sun, the 44-year-old said: "We’re not re-forming immediately, but in the near future."
Many believe this is also a result of Mel B's recent split from "controlling" husband Stephen Belafonte.
Victoria Beckham, who picked up her OBE yesterday, and Melanie C are currently not rejoining the band. However, last year Emma Bunton revealed that Victoria has always supported the band.
"For a long time she has wished us the best," Bunton said of Victoria.
"I was talking to her at David's birthday party and he said 'you've got to do something'. Maybe she will change her mind, she does that, who knows."
Let's hope both Victoria and Mel C change their minds, eh!
