Enthusiastic fan of Jilly Cooper, books, horses and singing. Not a made-up person.
Okay, so this is a bit of a mega treat. By now you'll know that Dawn O'Porter has her first adult novel coming out next week (spoiler: it's bloody great), and that she is doing THREE Glamour Book Clubs at Waterstones to celebrate it, all hosted by brilliant Glamour journalists, including Editor-in-chief Jo Elvin (and me).
Dawn will be in conversation with GLAMOUR at Waterstones in London on 3 April, in Manchester on 4 April and in Glasgow on 11 April – follow the links to get your tickets. Delicious drinks will be provided, free, by Baileys (soft drinks will also be available), and it's going to be a fantastic opportunity to ask Dawn questions about writing, her previous books, her column and her work.
But did you know that Dawn is voicing one of the characters in the audiobook? Clever girl.
And did you know that you can listen to Dawn reading chapter 1, right now, right here? HOORAY!
Tara, Cam and Stella are strangers living their own lives as best they can – though when society’s screaming you should live life one way, it can be hard to like what you see in the mirror.
When an extraordinary event ties invisible bonds of friendship between them, one woman’s catastrophe becomes another’s inspiration, and a life lesson to all.
Sometimes it’s ok not to follow the herd.
The Cows is released on 6 April, and get your tickets to #GBookClub in London on 3 April, in Manchester on 4 April and in Glasgow on 11 April.
