EMMA WATSON is said to be at the centre of another photo hack this afternoon, as online chatrooms reported the existence of private pictures of the actress. The images, said to have been seen by users on the "dark web" - a network that allows the anonymous sharing of illegal documents and information - were being discussed today by commenters on 4Chan, the same online message board where previous hacks have been revealed.
Watson is said to be the victim of the hack, along with fellow actress Amanda Seyfried, who is currently expecting her first child.
"There may be a few more names added to that list but these are the big two," the person who originated the thread wrote, the Telegraph reports. "Don't want to break any Reddit rules so no links right now but there should be some really good drama over the next few days."
It's not the first time that Watson's name has been associated with a photo hack. She revealed that she had previously been threatened by hackers after making a speech at the UN about feminism, but no images were released into the public domain as a result of the threat. A previous major photo hack occurred in 2014, when celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna and Kate Upton were said to have had their iClouds hacked. Lawrence spoke out at the time, calling the incident a "violation". Several of the hackers related to the original incident have since been jailed.
