Yes, the rumours are true. Sam McKnight, hairstylist and collaborator on over 100 Vogue covers, is launching a range of styling products taking the same name as his exhibition, Hair By Sam McKnight at Somerset House. McKnight debuted the first product, Modern Hairspray, backstage at today's Michael Halpern show during London Fashion Week.
“I’m very excited to be sharing a first look at the Modern Hairspray backstage at Michael Halpern autumn/winter 2017," he told us. "Finally here, after years of development, it's called Modern because it's the invisible multi-tasker. A uniquely formulated styling mist which I can use backstage to create curls, straighten or even to add volume. And I can trust it to keep a great chignon (or any style in fact) sleek and in place. It smells out of this world, and is totally brush-able, allowing you to create endless looks throughout the day. It’s the ultimate, versatile styling product.”
We've tried it, and we can't help but agree. Find out more about what's to come in the April issue of Vogue, out next month.
