KING KONG star Tom Hiddleston has spoken about his brief, but prominent, relationship with Taylor Swift last summer, saying he has no regrets.
Speaking to The Telegraph, the actor seemed puzzled when he was asked whether he had any regrets about “the publicity and gossip the romance engendered?” Hiddleston’s “testy” reply: “What should I regret, in your mind?”
Having said he would rather not speak on the subject, he then added: "Everyone is entitled to a private life. I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment and in my mind I don't conflict the two. My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate."
The Night Manager actor spoke to GQ about his courtship earlier this year, insisting the relationship was genuine and praising Swift as “an amazing woman”.
"You have to fight for love. You can't live in fear of what people might say. You know, you have to be true to yourself," he said in the interview. "I have to be so psychologically strong about not letting other people's interpretations about my life affect my life. A relationship exists between two people. We will always know what it was."Lena Defends Taylor’s Love Life
