9 Cool Feminist T-shirts to Wear on International Women’s Day (and Forever)

Slogan tees are popping up everywhere, both on and off the runways. Dior recently made fashion history herstory when Maria Grazia Chiuri took the reins at the storied luxury house; she is the first female creative director in Dior’s 70-year history. It was a mic drop moment to be sure, and Chiuri’s debut collection for the house turned out to be epic, too—especially the white tee featuring five words that have come to define the new power dressing: We Should All Be Feminists.

Off the runway, this must-have tee has been spotted on everyone from It girl blogger (and FASHION’s former cover girl) Chiara Ferragni to mega pop star Rihanna to A-list actress Natalie Portman. The later styled her bump with this Dior statement tee (she recently gave birth to baby girl Amalia) when in January.

Dior isn’t the only label spreading the F word these days. Slogan T-shirts with a feminist spin are the chicest new way to make a bold, political statement. Take a page from Madonna, who recently paired a female empowerment tee with an edgy floral Erdem skirt, a slick biker-style hat and sky-high platform boots.

Just in time for International Women’s Day on Wednesday, March 8, we’ve rounded up nine cool feminist T-shirts made for harnessing your superpowers like a boss. Wear it this Wednesday—and forever. #BeBoldForChange Photography courtesy of Getty Images
