AFTER months (or even years) of speculation and rumour, Adele has finally revealed that she has married her long-term partner - and the father of her four-year-old son, Angelo - Simon Konecki. The award-winning singer shared the news with a not-so-intimate crowd of 60,000 people as she performed at Brisbane’s cricket stadium, The Gabba, this weekend.

"As bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling,” she said, as she talked about the feelings that inspired her to write her hit song, Someone Like You. "Obviously I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I've found my next person."
The couple have been the subject of repeated rumours over the years - about everything from their relationship status, to the gender and name of their baby - and the singer has made a habit of casually announcing private details of her life with the crowd in these kind of on-stage chats. She hasn’t, as yet, revealed any of the details of her nuptials – which were said to have taken place just after Christmas at the couple’s own home in Los Angeles, attended by close family and friends – but fans will doubtless be hoping that more information will emerge at a future gig.
