After a week of teasing, Lorde has finally dropped her new single Green Light.

First played on BBC Radio 1, the song explores heartbreak. This marks Lorde's first new material since Magnets, the song she collaborated with Disclosure on in 2015. Her second album is due out later this year (we've only had to wait three years!).
Talking of her single to Radio 1 DJ, Mistajam, she said: "I really wanted to make something so different [to Royals, her first ever single]". She also revealed that her new material was inspired by David Bowie and that she made the record with Jack Antonoff - Lena Dunham's fiancé and the man who collaborates frequently with Taylor Swift.
This morning, Swift Instagrammed a shot of the single's cover with the caption "g2g brb just gonna make up an interpretive dance to this magnificent bop for the ages ELLA I LOVE YOU".
