Enthusiastic fan of Jilly Cooper, books, horses and singing. Not a made-up person.
Poor the internet: one minute it's having kittens over Disney announcing its first gay character, and now it is struggling to cope with the fact that Oscar-winning actresses have breasts.
Brie Larson appeared alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston to promote their new film Kong: Skull Island.
Larson revealed she'd never been to such a big premiere before due to starring in independent films, and felt slightly in awe, to which Jackson replied, "Come on, you're brand new and you've got every award that anyone could have!"
Jackson also joked about regaining his position as highest-grossing actor of all time, thanks to the success of xXx helping him to surpass Harrison Ford: "After this, it doesn't matter what Blade Runner does, I'm still going to be out there by myself!"
It was all very jolly, until viewers on social media decided to go all Victorian about Larson's beige jumpsuit.
"Not surprised to see Samuel L. Jackson sitting with his legs crossed," tweeted a man with nothing better to do, while another poor chap who clearly hasn't seen bosoms in a while tweeted, "Blimey Matt you will struggle to avert your eyes tonight!"
However, plenty of people dived in to join Larson's side, and delivered some juicy truths while at it.
"If #BrieLarson upset you, get your priorities straight," one person said. "You watch #TheOneShow, FFS. Be more concerned about your life than what Brie wears."
Ouch, but fair.
One woman tweeted her outrage at Brie Larson not dressing appropriately for a 7pm show, to which came the succinct reply: "It's the Year 2017, get a life. She looked stunning and if you've got it, then flaunt it."
Larson won Twitter shortly after the Oscars thanks both to her elegant disdain of Casey Affleck, to whom she presented his Best Actor Oscar, and also to this wonderful photograph of her with Best Actress winner Emma Stone.
Friendship goals right there.
