The Biggest Mistake In Oscar History Just Happened

The most insane thing happened during the last three minutes of the 89th Academy Awards last night. What unfolded when the Best Picture award was handed out was surreal and unbelievable, and literally the craziest thing that's ever happened in Oscars history and/or on live TV.

Here's what happened: Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway took the stage to present the award for Best Picture. Beatty did the honor of reading out the winning film, La La Land. Nobody was surprised (it was the favorite), everyone cheered, and the whole La La Land gang took the stage to accept the top honor. Then, there was pandomonium on stage, and the hugest fiasco in Oscars history happened.

"There's been a mistake," it was announced. The La La Land crew started clearing out, and two Academy officials arrived on the stage to deliver the most unexpected news. Moonlight won. Yes, Warren Beatty read the wrong card. This is not a drill. Moonlight WON. La La Land lost. And I'm pretty sure this is literally the biggest screw-up possible.
