Prominent Star Trek fanboy Rainn Wilson will take to the final frontier as part of the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery TV reboot, CBS announced Friday.

Wilson will play Harry Mudd, a "charismatic conman and intergalactic criminal," per a CBS press release. The character first appeared in the original Star Trek series in the 1960s.

Star Trek: Discovery will also include Jason Isaacs, Maulik Pancholi, Michelle Yeoh and Broadway star Anthony Rapp.

"The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers," the CBS release read.

There is currently no premiere date.
