The four month anniversary is a tricky thing. For most, it's actually not much of a thing at all, but who's to say which relationship milestones deserve a celebration? For Ariel Winter and her new-ish beau Levi Meaden, though, four months mean it's time to head to China.

According to Instagram evidence, the 19-year-old Modern Family star joined her 29-year-old actor boyfriend in Qingdao, Shandong this weekend. Meaden, 29, is in China shooting Pacific Rim: Uprising, the sequel to Guillermo Del Toro's 2013 film Pacific Rim. To celebrate their 16 weeks together, Winter shared an Instagram of the two on the streets in China with a simple emoji caption. She wrote the numbers 1-4 followed by a checkmark as if to say, "Hey, I counted the months that we've been together, and I guess it's been four months! Rock on!" The couple has been red carpet official since the SAG Awards in January. If the four month-measure is accurate, though, the two have been privately official since December of 2016.

This isn't the only adventure the young couple has shared on Instagram. In February, the two took a trip to the Tarong Zoo, where they made a slithery friend and a furry friend.

At 19, Winter is demonstrating some insane couple goals. But couple goals aside, the teenage star tends to be #goals in general. Winter, who achieved household fame when she was just 11, has been at the frontlines of the battle against online trolls since her very public puberty. Thus far, she's winning that battle. Like most actors, Winter has faced intense body scrutiny, and taken it all in stride. In 2016, when she was just 18, she underwent breast reduction surgery.

"If I went to the Emmys, or if I even went to the grocery store, there would be an article the next day being like ‘Ariel Winter [had] her boobs out at this event," she told Self in January. She made the decision to get the surgery due to discomfort — this is one of the major reasons people undergo this procedure. But even that decision came under fire.
"I definitely had a lot of people who were bashing me for being affiliated with body-positivity campaigns, and telling me, 'You got plastic surgery, so basically you don't promote body positivity and you don't love yourself,'" she told Refinery29 in an exclusive interview. "And that's completely untrue. As soon as I had large breasts, I was severely uncomfortable; I had really bad back problems; I couldn't fit into a lot of clothes; I had really bad indents in my shoulders from heavy bras; I could barely stand up straight. I felt it was necessary for me, and I made the choice entirely for me."

And she's not just taking shots at the pedestrian online troll. Winter aimed at the loudest troll of all in October of 2016: Donald Trump.

"I think it’s really disappointing that we’ve made so many strides towards promoting body positivity for women, and for men, and for empowering women, and [Donald Trump] really kind of just tears it all down," she told Entertainment Tonight.

Winter graduated from high school in June of 2016, and will be attending UCLA in the fall of 2017. For now, though, she's busy shooting Modern Family, the show that made her famous, and celebrating four month milestones with Levi Meaden. Keep living your best life, Ariel Winter — you're dishing major inspiration.
