Red alert! Katy PerryPhoto: REXMore
Katy Perry recently ditched her lob in favor of a choppy cut with shaved sides, but at Monday’s Met Gala, she opted to cover her locks completely.
As one of this year’s hosts, Perry embraced the theme, Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons; The Art of the In Between, giving it her own interpretation dressed in a custom red embroidered Maison Margiela ensemble by John Galliano with an intricate veil.
Underneath her “eye witness” head covering, the “Prism” singer sported her blond boyish cut with graphic blue smoky eyeshadow with silver glitter in the inner corners, ruby red lipstick, and bold eyebrows. Perry even brought the bold red shade down to her fingertips with elaborate nail art. She literally looks like walking art.
What do you think of Perry’s over-the-top ensemble?
